This seminar teaches or exposes teachers and administrators to the fundamental facts about diversity and key approaches used to commonly address diversity issues. Participants will acquire skills in managing differences in the classroom, overcoming common barriers and other social identity threats such as race and gender, and social justice issues such as discrimination, stereotyping and prejudice in a diverse workforce. Participants will also be taught how to discover their personal comfort levels and behavior in interacting with people different from themselves, embrace diversity as a source of organizational strength. Multiculturalism, cross-cultural communication team management services are also part of this seminar.
