Academic Enrichment Acceleration (AEA)
KESC Academic Enrichment Acceleration (AEA) program is designed for gifted and talented students who will benefit from challenge in advanced classes and exploration of their potentials. The program main goal is to develop the professional character, critical thinking, analytical reasoning, quantitative literacy and problem solving skills of gifted students to maximize their potentials to achieving excellence and independence in their life-long goals. KESC uses a combination of interactive coaching and hands-on-activities to challenge partcipating students to discover their individual unique passions and career paths, enrich and expand their talents and leadership skills, and strategically accelerate their pursuit of global academic excellence. All AEA classes or tutoring programs are particularly designed to help a child to Get-A-Head in desired classes or state English, math and science standards. The program is organized according to three academic structured curriculum (AEA = MDP+EEP+AAP)
- Math Discovery Program (MDP) activities provide the environment where students' talents, curiosity about numbers and math concepts, and potentials for abstract thinking abilities at a young age are explored and discovered from 3rd to 5th grades. The program at this young age is designed to develop critical thinking, problem solving and lifelong learning skills.
- The Enrichment and Expansion Program (EEP) activities are designed for 6th to 8th grade students to enrich and expand the talents discovered in MDP. This leads to a structured and effective transition toAcademic Acceleration Program (AAP).
- Academic Acceleration Program (AAP) primary goal is to support 9th to 12th grade gifted students to excel in their most challenging high school math and science classes and complete their math and science graduation requirements before 11th grade. The goal is to prepare and motivate them to take college-level classes in their junior and senior years or AP classes for competetive academic portfolio
