Middle School & Junior High Math
According to the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), students solidify conceptions about themselves as learners of mathematics in the middle grades. This usually represents a critical turning point in their lives. The math intuition, interest, and talent discovered in pre-K- 5th grades are further enriched and expanded from the 6th to 8th grade years. KESC Tutoring Program provide students in the middle grades a balanced mathematics program that encompasses all state standards, including significant amounts of algebra and geometry to ensure mastery of the following units within those standards:- Pre-Algebra
